James got a haircut! It was much needed. :o)
James is now 2! Amazing! But I am very disappointed in myself because I got no pics or video of his bday celebration! How LAME!!!! :o( So, we were going to have his party at the park, but it got rained out and we had it inside instead and a few of his friends from church came, and also his cousin, Thomas and the rest of Dave's family from here, and we had a rip roarin' good time! :o) He especially enjoyed the balloons! For a while he called them, "Gaboons", but now he says it right. :o)
It was a pretty dramatic haircut because James was screaming bloody murder the entire time, and therefore Jordyn was screaming and crying cause she was worried about James! So it was pretty crazy. And then James needed a bath afterward and he used to love baths, but a short while ago he decided he hates baths (probably cause he hates getting his hair washed) and so he will scream bloody murder through the entire bath and last night was no exception and I had to take Jordyn to the other end of the house cause she was crying cause she was once again extremely concerned about her brother! So it was a stressful evening, but it was worth it! :o) Dave did a nice job! :o)
Our next door neighbors have chickens and James loves to look at them through the fence and they often come to the fence to watch him, too! For a while he called them, "kitchens" or chick-a-chins", but now he says it right, and when he decides to go back in the house he always waves and says, "Bubye Chickens!" :o)
James tripped and took a spill while on a walk and landed smack on his face on the sidewalk and had a majorly fat lip, but it has healed nicely and surprisingly quickly, too! It was scary and sad. :o(
Uncle Ryan often stops by for a visit and the kids were enjoying standing on the couch and looking out the window. :o)
But apparently Brady is not enjoying himself in this photo! Ha ha ha! :o)
I had to get a picture of the curls growing in! :o) Her hair looks exactly as James' did at this age! So I think its safe to assume her hair will end up like his at his age. Curls are fun! :o)
She has very little hair and 99% of the time it is perfectly flat to her head, but this was the one and only time she's had actual bedhead! If you look closely she has this "Alfalfa" thing goin' on. We had a good laugh about it. :o)
She will often play with James' cars and even make car noises! But mostly only when James is doing it first. She won't typically do any of it on her own. :o)
Eating Goldfish crackers and watching "Baby Einstein" DVD's - one of their favorite things to do. :o)
Just bathed and put in PJ's and hanging out with Daddy and watching "Curious George" and holding their security blankets or "Tiddliwink" as we call them and shortened to "Tiddle", and that is what James calls it. :o)
This is how they eat most meals, next to each other, stealing food and sippy cups off each other's trays and I can sit next to them in my glider where I am most comfy and its easiest to feed Jordyn. So far, if one is in their chair eating, the other immediately comes over and asks to join in, so it makes it nice to always do both at the same time... without a fight. :o)
